Q:hey M =) , am a SONE and recently a tvxq(homin) stan i never knew they existed beside there being the sm band that dispanded and even my friends were surprised when they knew they're back and i thought sm kept them for pitty , and then i saw them first time in sm paris and that was it , they were the best act of the whole night! it was magic! until i found the fandom of course -_- , now being a sone there's this thing that hurt us the most which is black ocean that happened DC 2008
and now i hate it even more bcz ppl use it to drag tvxq down sayin oh how sad that 2011 DC was little red ocean and how old days and all the u know normal shit , they dnt care that over 2000 ppl came from outside the country for support majority being BE , they dnt care that the whole stadium even not fan cheered for them and sang why with them and shouted saranghae ! , i think for the boys they cherish us the now fans more than any ocean or sales ^^, so yeah i hate DC 2008, TONE red oceans FTW
Hello! Welcome to the fandom, where external pressure is great and quite idiotic… but don’t worry, spazzing about the boys makes every moment worth it.
The black ocean in 2008 was… for a lack of a better word, childish. It’s not something anyone should be proud of, IMO, although I am sure at the time many were extremely proud of themselves. Hope these people have grown up.
About DC 2011, I think it has been discussed several time that during the event the seating arrangement for each fanbase isn’t really that big, and many of the foreigners coming to support TVXQ ended up spread in the stadium instead of concentrated in a certain areas. Then again, it’s a concert with many fandoms, so it would only be natural for the oceans to be evenly spread…
Even during one of their Japanese charity performances, Yunho and Changmin reminded the audience that the night wasn’t just about Tohoshinki, but about everyone that performed. I am certain they are happy of all the support, but being able to hear support for EVERYONE involved must be an even better feeling.
Besides, these color oceans is just one aspect in out lives. TVXQ has proven in their career that having the biggest ocean doesn’t mean their life will be all well and they won’t have problems.
I definitely love TVXQ not because they have the biggest red ocean, but because they show me strength and dedication, a passion for what they do. They came back, they are growing, and seriously that is more important than how many lightstick is turned on or how many albums they sell.
