M, I’ve always heard about the HoTel Girls but I’ve never seem them. Some people say they are Yunho stans, some people say they are TVXQ stans, etc. Who the heck are they?

‘HoTel girls’ is actually a term coined by JYJ fans to refer to whom they consider JYJ antis from the TVXQ fandom. They actually care about HoTels enough to make a post over here.

Why many of you never seen them? Simply because they don’t exist as an organized fanbase like JYJ stans would like to believe. In fact, I don’t know of anyone from the said forums calling themselves a HoTel girl. It’s JYJ stans convenient punching bag whenever there’s a bad rumor spreading about their oppadeul. Like the Yoochun video for example.

Even though the video first posted in a pro-JYJ community, before catching fire in the Korean and International community, they accuse HoTel girls of spreading the video with the malicious intent to put down Yoochun by taking out a disclaimer by the original poster of the video saying it wasn’t Yoochun but a security guard.

I think by now everyone acknowledges it’s Yoochun, although some stans are trying to argue the girl deserved to be hit… I know, *roll eyes*.

I won’t deny that there are TVXQ fans who hate JYJ, just like there are JYJ fans who hate on TVXQ, but they don’t call themselves HoTel Girls. The nick was created because some people refuse to call the fans who support Yunho and Changmin as TVXQ as TVXQ fans,  simple as that. This term can be considered degrading, that’s why it is rarely mentioned, but of course, they will be mentioned when some people need convenient scapegoats.

And this time, it’s been proven that the only reason the video is eliciting negative reaction is because it shows a negative behavior, not because of some evil plan of JYJ haters to put down Yoochun.

And why is a TVXQ called ‘theumin’?

Theumin is a TVXQ site from Korea just like BesangYH or TypeB, it’s a site name, not a fandom name. Why they choose to call it theumin? Maybe because they want to… ^___^
